The Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario is the qualifying and regulatory body of Ontario’s more than 80,000 CPAs and 20,000 CPA students, CPA ontario certificate.

The CPA Certification Program is designed to serve the needs of Canadian business, public practice and government by educating and training the Chartered Professional Accountants on whom they will rely. Students are equipped to manage the pressures and pace of the global economy, developing a deep understanding of financial data, its impact on organizational performance and how it can be used to deliver exceptional results.

Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) (French: comptable professionnel agréé) is the professional designation established to unite three Canadian accounting designations under the CPA banner:

Chartered Accountant (CA),

Certified General Accountant (CGA)

Certified Management Accountant (CMA).

Recognition of Canada CPA

The CPA designation has been in use by members of all legislated provincial and territorial accounting bodies since 2014, novelty Canada certificate.

As of May 2017, CPA legislation was in place in all provinces, Yukon and Bermuda, replacing legislation previously in effect for the CA, CGA and CMA designations.
