
UPEI’s four colleges (College of Arts, College of Education, College of Science, and College of Veterinary Medicine) and two schools (College of Business and College of Nursing) offer a broad range of courses and degrees to approximately 4,400 undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students. With multiple Canada Research Chairs, Canada Research Chairs of Excellence in Aquatic Epidemiology, endowed or sponsored research chairs, and 3M Teaching Award recipients, UPEI provides students with access to more than 1,100 outstanding faculty and researchers.
UPEI students come from all walks of life and come from local, regional, national and international locations. As of January 2015, international students from more than 60 countries comprised 16% of the university’s total enrollment, novelty Canada diploma. The campus consists of 28 academic, administrative, residential and athletic buildings, including Don and Marion McDougall Hall, home to the School of Business; the Bill and Dennis Andrew Hall; the W.A. Murphy Student Center; new School of Nursing and Applied Humanities programs The facility, the Health Sciences Building, officially opened in early 2012.
